Mission
Parables is a Catholic themed magazine for children designed to teach and reinforce what children are learning about God through stories, poems, articles, activities, and devotions. Jesus taught us many things about God using parables, or short stories illustrating a spiritual lesson. Parables Magazine, following Jesus' example, shares the faith through stories.

MEET OUR DEDICATED EDITORIAL TEAM
Jennifer Gladen, Editor-in-Chief
Jennifer Gladen is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Parables Magazine. Her first novel, Souled, was released in September 2020 and the re-release of her picture book, Angel Donor released in October 2021.
She was founder of her previous E-Zine titled My Light Magazine and is a member of the Catholic Writer's Guild.
In her spare time she participates in her parish choir.
Christina Weigand, Assistant Editor
Christina Weigand’s a writer, wife, and mother of four, Nana to five granddaughters. She lives with her husband in Pennsylvania.
When she’s not writing she’s active in her local Church as a lector, Bible Study, and helping children develop a love for reading and writing. Jesus fills her home with love as she shares Him through her writing.
