Day 29: Jesus is the Bread of Life

“I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to me will never hunger and whoever believes in me will never thirst.” ~ John 6:35

Jesus instituted the sacrament of Holy Communion. The Eucharist is Jesus as the Bread of Life. Just like we need our bread (or daily food) to live, we need that frequent connection with Him to sustain life in our soul. Those who participate, their soul will not go hungry or thirsty.

Prayer: Jesus, help me to recognize you every time I receive you in Holy Communion
