Day 23: Mary, Star of the Sea

“Where there is Mary, there is Jesus.” ~ Unknown

As our mother, Mary guides us on the path to Jesus. We sometimes refer to her as the Star of the Sea. We do this because of what we see stars do for sailors.

The stars in the sky help sailors navigate the sea so that they can get to their destination. Mary is our Star of the Sea. Her guidance will lead us to our destination – to God in Heaven.

In our lives, we have many problems that we aren’t sure what to do. In addition to our parents, we have Mary to guide us too. We can pray and ask her to lead us to the right choice. We trust in her to take care of us.

Prayer: Mary, Star of the Sea, pray for us.
