Day 13: We Need God 8/19
“God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.” ~ St. Augustine of Hippo
Sometimes it is easy to take for granted all that God has given us. From the creation of all the nature around us, to perfect balance of making life possible, it is God’s will for us to live. Not only to live here and now, but to live with Him forever in Heaven.
Even our talents are gifts from God. So when we are good at something, we ask ourselves, “How can I use this to honor and thank God?”
One simple way to help illustrate this is to make a list (or better yet a Gratitude Journal) of all that God has given you. Even in the midst of suffering, He’s there holding it all together. It is only our desire to see it that we can recognize it.
Prayer: O God, thank you for all You have given me today. Help me to use these gifts for Your plan and will.
