The Ballad of Saint Mary Magdalene

This girl Saint, Mary, was her name.

From Magdala she came.  

She never acted quite the same,

and demons were to blame.

 

So, no one ever really knew,

what bad things she might do.

Night and day her loneliness grew,

making her feel so blue.

 

Then on a bright and sunny day,

Mary met someone new…
