Ever More

These words shall gaze on you

Like the brightness of the Harvest moon:

Be still; He is here;

He is patient like the hills above the valley.

Like the passing clouds

He caresses your cares away.

Like the glow of firelight

From the cabin window,

Like the frosted pattern on the window pane,

Like the warm blanket on your lap,

He will bring you comfort and joy.

He is farther than the moon and

Nearer than your eyelashes.

He is ever more.
